Thank you to Phil and Gwen and the entire Talon Lodge staff for another outstanding Alaska experience! My family and I have been coming to Talon Lodge for eight years to relax and enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Year after year we have come to enjoy this luxury lodge and the amazing staff. Phil and Gwen and the entire staff truly care about you and your experience and will go the extra mile to make your experience memorable. There is no place like it where you can relax, socialize, put your feet up, have a beverage of your choice, and enjoy the majestic Alaska scenery. It is the only Alaskan lodge that has succulent culinary creations by gourmet chefs, hosts James Beard chefs, serves award winning wines by leading vintners, luxurious accommodations, open air massage pavilion, an award-winning bar/lodge that looks out into the Alaska wilderness, and a fishing fleet with dedicated and experienced Talon Lodge captains and deck hands. You will not find these lodge amenities and services at any other fishing lodge in Alaska. Thank you again, Phil and Gwen and the entire Talon Lodge staff for making our family a part of yours. Our fishing experiences have been outstanding, dining experiences extraordinary; and evening dinners full of fun, laughter, and sharing fishing highlights. We have made so many friends through this must-do yearly vacation. You are the best! We are already looking forward to our visit next year!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here. The entire trip was spectacular. I love how the lodge is on it's own island surrounded by Alaska's beauty. The staff truly works as a team and is personable and great to be around. The food and spa was excellent. One of the best things about the lodge that they technically don't have to do, is the 5pm demonstration. A chef actually teaches you how to cook the fish you'll be taking home. This is above and beyond. Everything about this place is above and beyond. I miss them all.

My son Forrest and I had the best time fishing with Captain Gavin and CJ. Helped us in every way possible out there (even had warm soup ready for us), kept it fun for everyone and helped create an experience we will never forget. Great lodge, beautiful views, and all sorts of cool experiences to enjoy. Recommend spending a day checking out Kruzof island to try some fly fishing with Captain Ted as well.
